Students from Srishti School win the Best Presentation Award at iGEM Competition

Mentored by Yashas Shetty, Navneet Rai and Mukund Thattai, a team of students from Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology won the “Best Presentation” award at the International Genetically Engineered Machines (iGEM) Competition help on Nov. 2, 2009 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Screening away the H1N1 (Swine Flu) virus in schools

As the panic over H1N1 virus increased, many schools across the Bangalore city remained closed due the lurking fear of victimizing their students to swine flu. However, the incidence of disease seemed to be rising and schools could not afford to remain shut for their students. In the wake of this situation, flu detecting sensors came to rescue of schools.
