1. It is an “all-rounder” education. Why? you ask
a. They have Physical Education classes everyday, even for “senior” students. It is so very important that a child in our today’s sedentry life for children to be physcially active. Good for the mind and body
b. The academics are more application driven, instead of so much rote. They are given many different independent projects, science concepts are experimented in labs. My 11 year old know more about ppt presentation then I do. They have enhanced classes for more advanced students and extra help for the struggling students. Because the class size is no more than 25 students they get more individualized attention.
c. My children are scoring high in the Standardized tests given so that I as a parent can find out how my child is doing compared to other children of the world.
d. Every week for assembly there is some groups of children performing in front the of the student body. It is also inclusive where many presentations are class based so that all children can take part.
2. It provides ICSE and IGCSE education. As my children have not reached the stage where we must choose between different boards, I do not have much information.
3. There are many different types of activities children participate in inter school as well as intra school in form of competition or some project or community work. I was surprised by how many different avenues are available to my children, from art, singing, dancing, athletics, various team sports, science, maths, English, quiz so on and so forth. If you an involved parent the school will expose your children to the outside world.
4. Other everyday things
Transportation - Provided for everyday. School bus comes on time. Teacher supervision on the bus.
Food - breakfast, lunch, snack everyday continental food as well as indian.
Teachers - qualified and involved
Discipline - no nonsense approach. Clearly stated policy as well as Children are heard out if there are any issues.
